I been working on the design for a new brand of clothing with some friends called Goldtooth. It's a punk, rock, hip-hop hybrid with a gothic twist. I really love geometric shapes and hard edge forms, so the use of jagged typography and razor sharp patterns gives the brand an aggressive urban feel. With a whole bunch of new widgets and applications on offer, but nowhere to keep them. Orange asked us to create a download centre to showcase their shiny new toys. Initially intended for the French, I designed a platform that would become the central hub for users wanting to access these new offerings. Following the re-design work I did for three.co.uk, I created a style guide document that would support the consistency of user experience across all of 3's online channels. It covered everything from visual language, colour and typography, to page templates and brand personality. There was a cheeky cut-out-and-keep reminder for designers to stick on the wall, as well as guidelines for developers that covered SEO and accessibility. Arnold & Patterson Me and my friend Defiled Poet are working on a few ideas for a comedy sketch based on two eccentric senior citizens called Arnold & Patterson. The whole thing is pretty abstract and based on email conversations between the two characters. Their discussions take them to strange, dark places where they reminisce about old friends and past shenanigans. I created these illustrations to support the dialogue between Arnold & Patterson. I transformed many of 3's popular Ad campaigns into the online world and created a site that was exciting, informative and simple to use. The careers centre microsite won enormous praise and transformed their recruitment drive two-fold.
